How does it work?

The treatment
After a full consultation a comprehensive treatment plan will be devised to give the best outcome for your needs.
The area to be treated will be thoroughly cleansed and a cooling gel applied to ensure the light absorption is optimized for maximum results. The applicator will be placed onto your skin and flashed in a series of shots to treat the area.

Is there anything I need to know before the treatment?
You are advised to stay out the sun and away from sunbeds 6 weeks prior to the treatment to ensure that your skin is as close as possible to its natural colour. You must avoid the sun and sunbeds for 7 days after the treatment.
Post treatment care advice
- The area treated can be red and warm for a few hours after treatment, if this is uncomfortable you can cool the area with a cold flannel.
- Avoid make-up for 24 hours
- Avoid tight clothing around treated areas and avoid exercise for 24 hours.
- Avoid smoking and alcohol for at least 2 hours before and after treatment.
- Any soothing products MUST NOT contain anti-inflammatory or blood thinning properties and if possible avoid medication that might have those affects for 24 hours.
- Use a good range of skin products and a good sun protection SPF 30 or above after your treatment.
